R&R Time

This is day four of my 3 week vacation. You'd think, by now, that I would have my house all cleaned, all my scrapbook pages up to date, all the digital LOs done. What else would I do with all the extra time I saved? - 8 hours work time + 3 hours travel time X 3 days. Where is the time going?

Well, I did spend quite a bit of it playing with Paint Shop Pro. I never had a chunk of time to just play with the software before. I learned a lot. I actually got to join a daytime crop and made one whole Christmas card. I even had time to play with the macro feature on my camera and submitted a photo for a challenge at Scrapbook Bytes. I'll bet my husband thinks I have some crazy undocumented addiction, for which there is no support group.

Yesterday, I played with my grandkids all day.

Now about the housework. . .
The thought crossed my mind that I could go through all my closets and cupboards and do a thorough cleaning. I could go through the boxes of fabric and eliminate the stuff I'll never use. Then I gave my head a shake. This is my vacation! It's time to REST and RELAX. SO - I promised myself that I would not spoil my vacation with housework. First week down--Promise kept.

I hope all of you who are on vacation are getting lots of R&R. And those of you who are keeping kids entertained and active, your countdown is on. . . only 3 weeks left!! I hear ya. I remember.
Hopefully, you'll be able to give yourself some R&R time in September.
