It's a Boy!

We just found out that Grandkid #5 (due May 12th) is a boy. WooHoo! He has two older sisters, so his parents were sure hoping he's a boy. They had a late Ultrasound and found out on Thursday. We went over to their place on Saturday to look at the pictures over blueberry muffins & coffee. He actually looks pretty spooky in one shot. One eye is staring out at you and you can see all his teeth.... creepy. The side shot isn't so bad. You can still see the teeth, but you can also see him sucking his thumb. That's kinda cute. I hope to get some scanned copies for scrapbook pages.
Grandpa got to play puzzles and watch Ice Age with Hayleigh (2 3/4). Jada (8 months) took her first step while we were there. I didn't have my camera, but I could never have had it ready and pointed in the right direction at the exact split second that she took that little step. Of course there was no repeat performance while we were there, either.
OK this is Grandbaby #5, he has 2 older sisters - who are the other two? ...... Our other daughter has a boy 4 and a girl 2 1/2. There - that's 5. We sure enjoy them, but our younger daughter is going to have her hands full this spring. There will be just a year and a couple of weeks between Jada and her little brother.
